I would recommend the lemon juice (can stain) and the vinegar (has its own smell). Vodka mixed with lavender is actually a great deodorant/room freshener. Looking forward to seeing how it goes for you!!

I love using baking soda on my carpet, to clean the bathtub, sinks, etc. I use Borax to clean up carpet stains.
